Reliance (Kit N & O) 8-circuit & 10-circuit turn-key load side transfer switch kits offer hardwire/plug-in features, are totally pre-wired and do not require additional feeder breakers. The 10-circuit transfer switch (Kit O) has interchangeable circuit breakers. Style K is designed for Honda EB seires generators with GFCI. UL1008 listed.
APC Universal Transfer Switches (Style F & G) offers adaptive load management (auto load shedding) and UTS (battery back-up) connection style I. Can be hard wired with optional 30A hardwire kit style H.
Transfer switches isolate the generator (allows a safe connection), so it can’t accidentally electrify external power wires.
Transfer switches and inlet boxes must be installed by a qualified electrician and the connection must comply with all applicable laws and electric codes.
