The power of a two stage with the maneuverability of a single stage, it's the ideal blend of features found usually only in full size models. Built to handle the toughest winters for years to come, it features welded construction with heavy gauge steel frames, housing and chutes.

Homeowners who want a mid-sized snowthrower that performs even during the harshest snowfalls can count on the 960E. Simplicity's newest snowthrower, it's designed specifically to provide power and reliable performance under extreme winter conditions.

The 960E features welded construction with a heavy-gauge steel frame, auger housing and discharge chute, as well as a solidly engineered gear box proven under alpine conditions. A rugged, 14-inch diameter serrated steel auger and a 12-inch, four-blade impeller throw snow up to 40 feet.

Break through ice and snow. Rugged, serrated steel auger breaks through icy, packed snow and feeds snow into the impeller. Shear bolts protect gear case; auger has grease fittings for longer life.

Snowthrower controls on the 960E are at the operator's fingertips. Chute rotator, auger / impeller, traction drive and gear selection — featuring 5 forward / 2 reverse speeds — are conveniently located on the upper panel.

Clear even hard packed snow and ice - the counterweight attachment increases weight forward of the axle for improved pressure at the scraper bar.

The 860E has a snow clearing width of 24 inches, an 9-hp Briggs & Stratton OHV INTEKSNOW engine with electric start designed to start even in conditions below 0° F, and 16-inch tires to offer better traction.

Simplicity's unique slow speed Creeper Gear™ keeps you moving ahead—even in the heaviest snow—while the engine speed remains at full rpm to keep throwing snow. With Creeper Gear there's no need to stop and start again and again while waiting for the auger and impeller to catch up and clear.

In addition to the soft snow cab, options include a front counterweight, a headlight and drift cutters. Stay warm and dry with an optional all-weather soft snow cab that protects you from cross winds and blowing snow.
