There are companies who buy Honda engines, and install these engines on their generators to make their product more saleable. Generally, they are labeled "Honda powered". So what is the implication when you see "Honda powered"?

To begin with, the Honda engine will provide all the quality and dependability that the Honda name has come to represent. But the gen-set or electricity-producing part of the generator may be quite inferior to those found on a true Honda generator. For all generators, the level of sustained power a generator is capable of producing over a long period of time is known as the 'rated load'.
