The only single-stage snowblower on the market with a 4-stroke engine, the HS520 requires no gas and oil mix! Honda's HS520 Single Stage Snowblower is best suited for hard surfaces like sidewalks, pavement, blacktop and cement. This is due to the way the blower works. It uses a fast moving, rubber-edged auger to grab the snow, throw it out the chute, and assists in self propelling the unit. That is why it can only be used on hard surfaces. If it were to be used on gravel for instance, it would act more like a machine gun than a snowblower, which is highly un-recommended!

The engineers at Honda have packed a lot of snow-moving power into the compact HS520. It clears a 20 inch path, throwing snow over 26 feet - the kind of might you'd expect from a much larger and more expensive machine. This Honda is an easy-starting, smooth-running powerhouse that stores conveniently when not in use.

It's light and maneuverable, and the Auger Assist Drive helps propel the HS520 in most snow conditions when the rubber-edged auger contacts the surface. A gentle upward pressure on the handle starts forward motion. There's even an HS520AS with AC Electric Start for an added level of convenience.
